突然很想记录下此刻的感受。。。

今天做工觉得很满足 很快乐 可能因为吃了一级棒的菜贩 🍚

重点重点。 最近身边朋友都好像经历了很多，

身为朋友我只能听，然后希望我所对他们说的会有帮助，

会带给他们一点安抚或快乐。

我们的人生都会经历不快乐，

也许你认为你承受不了， 很想放弃，很想哭，

但试着想想， 想久一点， 再久一点。。

是不是其实你也可以勇敢面对？？？

失败了就知道成功多美好。

不开心时就知道开心其实可以很简单。

如果此刻的你

觉得幸福， 就把幸福传递一下吧。

一个灿烂的微笑 一个真诚的谢谢 一个温暖的拥抱 

也许你可以把另一个人的世界点亮

甚至燃烧 🔥🔥🔥

Keep track

 

Suddenly remembered I still have a blog........

It's already 2014 already,

time really flies and I would say

there's quite a bit of changes in my life regardless

of whether it was good or bad.

I kind of feel lucky and fortunate at this point of life,

even though I feel a bit aimless sometimes.

Things will work out eventually right?

And I think my mentality or the year would be

to enjoy every moment because the moment

will never repeat itself again.

Hong Ji BKT

Usually Sunday I go for late lunch with my dad

and recently we find ourselves going back to

Hong Ji marsiling outlet since it's the nearest to us.

I love eating there and will be back there soon again hehe

There is also a seafood stall in the same coffeeshop,

but for seafood soup there's another place

which does it better at old woodlands!!

Because me is still hungry after BKT.....

Dinner was thai food at balestier area yumz

Marché with yuhui on a random day i think

where we both didn't had work!

Go for the lunch express at 313 outlet only 8.90++

Bought 2 out of the 4 dishes that is offered

for the promotional price of 8.90++

Felt quite healthy but taste was not lacking also,

loved the red rice with a variety of vegetables.

Ordered this to share for dessert,

for me it was not impressive and basically was

just sponge cake with jellied strawberries on the top.

Thou shall forgive because it is pleasant for the eyes at least!

Bad day for photo taking for me hence the faces.

We then moved on to have dinner

which probably was a bad choice since our lunch was quite late.

Took bus from Bishan to get to GRUB

Alighted a stop later thanks to me and walk the

MUCH LONGER route thanks to us??

Welcome to GRUB!



Loved the place most for its atmosphere and the surroundings,

nestled in between HDBs yet you get to have such a lovely place.

They had quite a few mains but we tried

the fish and cheese burger which was honestly speaking

quite meh in our opinions (maybe we were full idk)

Nevertheless looking good and service was great,

portion was just nice and fitted the price I would say.

Would consider going back for their desserts or brunch menu though!

When we left, it was still quite bright,

recommended to come for dinner dates.

Really enjoyed the whole environment, but there could

be quite a lot of ppl even though the location is quite ulu.

Never would I had imagined we would still go

and have ice cream?!?!? All credits to yuhui for the suggestion ahem.

Headed to have Salted Caramel Ice Cream

pistachio and salted caramel with waffles, it was goooooood.

Graduation day!!

So glad that I actually managed to pass and graduate hahaha

I sound like someone who slacks a lot in poly ahem

Such a joyous occasion and congrats to all my polymates too,

3 long years spent together and pls do stay in contact :)

 Thanks to Yvonne's mum for the grad bear,
such a pleasant surprise. Hehe
And definitely want to thank every lecturer
and basically anyone who made my poly life complete!

Farewell dinner and birthday celebration for our

always young and energetic lecturer Mr Aaron Chua.

Had dinner at Skinny Pizza at Wheelock.

-

The truffle fries and sweet potato nibbles pictured,

liked the sweet potato would be better if it was more sweet.

*swallows saliava*

 Too many pizzas and I forget which is which
so just one random pizza uploaded oops
Most of it was good but it wasn't that filling
so for big eaters order more??? or eat fat pizzas

 The VIP of the day!!!

 Hope we get to visit him when we have the chance

since he's not working in SG anymore.

Nevertheless, you've been the best lecturer anyone could ask for

and also an inspiration to many of us students.

Baby happiness

Went in Msia with my Mum to my Aunt's place

before we head over to my cousin's baby's 1st month!!

My aunt is vegetarian and she prepared some food to bring over,

so just showing one of it which is

the vegetarian pau. (Homemade is the best)

 First thing upon reaching my ousin house is to eat.

HAHAHA kidding lah see baby of course!

I didn't take any pics cause too many people w the baby

and me is paiseh cuz I don't know the ppl there.

Stayed over the night at my aunt's place

as the next morning we plan to go for fortune telling(regarding our names)

Went to makan at a random coffeeshop,

I don't even know where am I so no address :(

Must mention 1st that we have 2 adults 1 child in total

consuming the food below in case you think I ate all of them which may be possible.

Ordered this noodle cause so many people were eating it!!!

So simple but yet so good seriously,

except maybe the fish could be more juicy and fresh.

 Some dim sum for sides which I ended up ordering more

and sort of couldn't finish it...... >.<

 Wanton noodle for my mummy,

please look at the QQ noodles.

 Char kuay tiao for my cousin.

This was what I bought at the bakery just beside this coffeeshop.

It's called Moonlight Cake House

There were a huge variety of cakes and they also

sell mains like cafes do, am so going to try out if I ever go there again!

Bought some back to try and my favourite is

the one in the background which is a fluffy soft bread

which is slightly sweet I cannot forget that taste omg T-T

Last minute dinner meet up with yy and von

at dhoby ghaut's Jai Thai

Yy and me reached earlier and was waiting for von to end work

which leads to 3 super hungry people.....

Here is what we ordered :

Pineapple fried rice (ended up ordering white rice also), green curry,

tom yum seafood soup, basil pork tofu, black pepper fish

and last but not least phad thai.

We enjoyed most of the dishes except

the phad thai which seems to have more veg than the kway tiao.

Can't wait to go back again,

all the food was really value for money.

Total damage was only $40+ for 3 pax,

which I thought was reasonable.

Walked over to the mall opp somerset I think?

Trying out Smoothie King highly raved by yy

I can feel that the drink was really healthy,

but it didn't really attract me by its taste....

But, I would still try other smoothie when I do happen to go again

and their wraps which looks very healthy and low in calorie!!!

Cooking is good for the soul

My brother and I were staying home

and I suddenly had a craving for tomato based angel hair pasta.

Went to NTUC to buy Prego sauce(any other brands to recommend?)

and the angel hair pasta and some random ingredients.

 One big wok of pasta yum yum yummmmmmmmm

I cooked eggs in order to make it into something

like omu pasta style hahaha

 

I had like 3 plates of pasta mwahahaha,

all thanks to my bro who cooked, I did help!!

Randomly decided to bake banana muffins?

It tuned out looking good but still not the kind I like :'(

How it looked like inside hahaha

Anybody has fail proof banana-anything recipes to share?

Still deciding whether to get an

electric mixer since most recipe calls for one.
